The rise of Vegan Junk Food- By ChloettadminDecember 21, 2019Casual / Healthy / VeganCeleb spottingFood & DrinkFood hacks0 Comments 02 min read As a general rule of thumb, the term vegan is associated with dieting; foods that are healthy, sugar-free, dairy-free- essentially free of anything delicious. But even vegans just need a plate of fries and a extra large cheese burger at times. So, imagine eating Mac & Cheese, Tacos, Banana Bread and Maple Pancakes made entirely from plant-based ingredients without compromising on the taste AT ALL. Indeed, By Chloe takes an innovative approach to veganism by serving dishes that are the opposite of what you’d consider to be healthy while still being healthy. While these dishes might not be necessarily low on the calorie quotient, they are definitely more nutritious as cheese is swapped for cashew cream and bread is replaced by quinoa patties. With a super- instagrammable menu that appeals to millennials, the restaurant has raised hefty capital for global expansion and is on track to serve it’s dairy-free strawberry shortcakes all over the world. By Chloe recently opened it’s doors in Convent Garden in London. With a massive sign upon arrival saying “Guac save the Queen” and a central location close to Tower Bridge, the restaurant has been the rage of tabloids making it difficult to get a table. A-list celebs like Miley Cyrus who have endorsed their vegan lifestyle publicly have been spotted dining at this joint making it even more popular. By Chloe’s casual and colourful interiors are reflective of it’s brand and the young audience it attracts.
