Just off the Strand, The Savoy is known for its Eduardian elegance combined with artworks dating to the 1920s and 30s. We’d say this property is less suited for voguish-modern buffs with an affinity for stainless steel and sharp edges, rather for those who appreciate timeless decor in a luxurious setting. The hotel has maintained it’s Forbes Travel Guide 5 Star Rating for the third year in a row which goes a long way in shaping perception between affluent travelers. It’s impeccable service, super location (a few minutes walk from Convent Garden as well as Soho) and their variety in Food&Drinks has allowed it to retain it’s timeless reputation. Key Highlights: -Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay’s Savoy Grill– an informal setting serving British food with French flair. The name Gordon Ramsay is enough to make people flock to the restaraunt as you simply cannot go wrong with his food. -Kaspars– more formal; serving champagne and seafood. Known for the bar which is the focal point of the restaraunt as shown below: -Afternoon high tea at the Thames foyer in the Lobby. Price Range: Pricey (£400 and onwards) All photos courtesy of The Savoy Hotel ttadminStay connected on the freshest stories shaping the world of food, travel, vetted luxury and more.
