In true Jean Georges style, the latest addition to his global empire is now open in the heart of Mayfair at the Connaught Hotel. In a conservatory-style restaurant, you can overlook the fashionable Mount Street with a line of high-end stores from Gianvito Rossi to Maison Goyard. The ambience is eclectic and somewhat informal in a relaxed yet charming setting. With couch-like seats to private booths on a carpeted floor with low-rise marble tables, the seating is comfortable for delicious comfort food and an extensive cocktail list. The Michelin-starred chef does not disappoint with the menu which ranges from the signature Truffle pizza with its blistered crust and infusion of Truffle Fontina cheese to the Poppy Seed Crusted Salmon in the mains. (shown below). Although a relatively smaller menu than Jean-Georges’ other restaraunts, the menu complements the informal gourmet dining experience. For Starters: Fresh Crab Crostini Kale & Broccoli Salad Must- haves for main course : The Truffle Cheeseburger with Yuzu pickles and Fries Parmesan-crusted Chicken In addition, the breakfast is absolutely divine with dishes such as the Gluten Free Almond Pancakes to the Truffle Scrambled Eggs while you are surrounded by glass walls. Best for: an informal, delicious meal on low rise settees during the day and/ or night. Also available to take away food. ttadminStay connected on the freshest stories shaping the world of food, travel, vetted luxury and more. Follow me on socials:
